Company Profile

Advanced Digital Devices (ADD) was established in 1988. We have evolved into the most advanced supplier of Fibre Optic Interfaces in South Africa. We are a preferred supplier for various government institutions and rate high on the BEE scorecard.

We currently employ 24 people (including management) and have several partners who assist with development and technology updates on current projects.

Our team consists of:

Project & Development: ADD has a strong design team and our skilled Engineers are always busy with new product development and enhancement. We specialise in producing purpose-designed systems to suit the Customer’s requirements.

Support, Repairs & Testing: At ADD we offer full support in the use, application and maintenance of our products. ADD has a commitment to quality, reliability and customer satisfaction. We offer full repair services for all our products and have a dedicated in-house repair facility where we repair and maintain all our products.

PCB Workshop: ADD has a very competent production facility. All products are manufactured in-house with the exception of the more intricate products that are sent to manufacturing houses specialising in complicated surface mount technology.

Mission Statement of ADD

It is our mission to produce and supply products that are cost effective and surpass the quality and functional requirements of the customer’s application.

We strive to advise on system planning and follow through with technical assistance in the implementation of an installation.

Our support and repair team is always ready to assist and reduce down time of systems should a problem occur.

We also offer help in fault finding and identifying problem areas in an installation even if the problems experienced are not a direct result of ADD equipment being faulty.
